Studio project exploring Sports branding possibilities.

How do you create a campaign for sports branding without using sport celebrity images? Without colors? Without cheesy taglines? We decided to explore these limitations and worked on the efficiency of illustrations.

Similarly to the Spirit campaign, the Forward series attempt to capture the essence of sports, with the use of black and white images and bold headlines. By limiting the colors, copy, and the use of photographs of sport celebrities, we explored a different approach to representing sports branding.

This is a part of a series of self-initiated project with self-imposed rules and restrictions, which we've introduced this process into our design workshop.
